This is literally the moment before Stiles’s hallucination comes into play. We all saw it. Sheriff Stilinski rants and raves about how Stiles is the reason his wife is dead. Stiles is the reason that he’s in pain. Stiles is killing him as well. But what if the hallucination didn’t start with the Sheriff? In the scene before, Stiles and Scott are walking together, talking. And then, right before Stiles has to suffer through his what he feels like is his dad finally telling the truth, Scott leaves. You can kind of see Stiles look back and forth a second in confusion, because why did Scott just up and go? What if, more than just causing his father pain, Stiles is afraid of Scott leaving him? He has every right to be. He’s been pushed to the side for Allison more than I’m willing to go back and try to count. From the beginning of Allison, Stiles has become second best in Scott’s life. And this isn’t a post meant to rip Scott apart. This is about Stiles. This is about the idea that Stiles not only fears hurting his father, but being alone. And maybe I’m looking too far into it..or maybe not.
